Big girls don't cry! or do they?

For Zoey's 1st birthday we were lucky enough to have lots of family and friends celebrate with us. Attendees included:

The day started with giving Zoey her birthday dress in the morning so she could wear it to church. She looked adorable if I must say so myself. It didn't make her any quieter in sacrament though. Grandma and Grandpa Moon got to experience how loud she really is.

After church Vicki and I decorated her cake. I made baked potatoes and bread and my mom brought two salads for dinner. With the help of everyone the meal was fantastic!Her flower cake"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"

Zoey was kind of fussy all day and when it came time for her cake she wanted nothing to do with it. She wold just poke it and then turn away. She wouldn't even take a bite when we cute it up for her. Oh well, she missed out because it was good cake!Ok smash it!Or not!Poke

Present opening didn't go much better. She could care less about opening the packages, but did enjoy all of the toys that she received! Zoey made out like a bandit! Lots of cool toys, cute outfits, and two really cool decorations for her room. She also received a bundle of her favorite candy from the Parsons, which she gladly took that night. Overall the party was a success even though Zoey was kind of a dud. I did find two molars breaking through the skin last night, which could have contributed to the fussiness. We enjoyed everyones company and the love we felt in our home. Thanks for coming everyone and happy 1st birthday Zoey!!!
