Spelling her name!?!?!?

I thought Alex and I had decided to spell our baby girl's name with a "Y" but now it is up in the air again. After many people have told him they like just Zoe and after seeing it only spelt that way for other girls he has decided that is how he wants to spell it. His arguments are: It doesn't come up as misspelled in spell check, everyone spells it that way, it is cute being only three letters, and he just likes it better. I was a little worried when we first decided to spell it with a "Y" that it was to masculine looking, but after several people reassured me it wasn't I was ok with it. Now that it has been several months of thinking it was going to be spelt that way it has really grown on me and I would like to keep it. My arguments: It makes her different, Zoey is still in every baby name book just like Zoe (therefore it is not spelled wrong), it is impossible to mispronounce, the "Y" is fun to write on the end of the name and I just like it better. So as you can see we have a little issue that needs resolving and would like to ask our friends and family and find out what they think. Please fill in your opinion in the poll located on our blog page! Thanks!

Hmmmmm that is a tough one, I am a bit up in the air too, but I think I might have to side with Alex, not because of his reasons but I think I like Zoe better. But whatever way is not going to take away from her yummy scrumptious-ness!!!!!

I actually saw it spelled Xoe the other day. I thought that was cool and different, but in your case I am all about "Zoey" having just "Zoe" makes me want to say "Zo" instead.

I'm with Haley... Zoey looks cuter, and not so curt. Plus, like Wendy said, it looks like "Zo" with only an "e" on the end. :)
